FREE before and after school Learning Center available to ALL our students!
The 21st Century Expanded Learning Program is open to all qualifies students enrolled at St. Martin de Porres School. The before and after school programs are offered at no extra cost and provide a range of academic assistance, depending on the specific need of the student, from tutoring in reading and math, to group homework centers.
The program provides an enrichment element that offers participating students a broad array of services, programs and activities designed to reinforce and complement the school day academic program. Examples include youth development, art, physical fitness and recreational activities. Literacy and educational services are also available to the families of enrolled students such as English literacy classes and training for parents on how to be full partners in their children’s education.
St. Martin de Porres is a 21st Century Community Learning Center funded by CDE 21st Century grant funds. The program is sponsored by the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Education.
The Center is open daily Monday through Friday
6:25 – 7:55 am - Monday through Friday
3:00 – 6:00 pm - Monday through Friday
2:00 – 6:00 pm - Wednesdays
12:00 – 6:00 pm - Minimum days
