I’m Darren, founder of STMDP.com. As a former student of law, I came to become very good at writing and found that journalism was something that I was better at.

I didn’t want to waste all the time that I had spent learning law, so I founded this website as a way for me to publish news and stories on legal topics.

It wasn’t long after the site was launched that I started getting inquiries from many people around the world, asking if they could contribute to my site. It was obvious to me that many of the people writing me didn’t fully understand law, as the articles they were providing didn’t show a strong knowledge of the US legal system.

Regardless, I once aspired to write about law and was shut down. I have no intention of doing the same to others.

The articles you see on my site may have inaccurate information. For that reason, I’d like to request that you consider this blog to be nothing more than an experiment in essay-writing skills, as well as a source of entertainment.
